Let the initial pressure and volume be `P_1 and V_1` and final pressure and volume be `P_2 and V_2`
Percentage change in pressure `=(P_2 - P_1)/(P_1)xx100=100`
`P_2 -P_1=P_1`
`P_2=2P_1`
Applying Boyle's law,
`P_1 V_1 = P_2 V_2`
`P_1 V_1 = 2P_1 V_2`
`V_2 = (V_1)/(2)`
Change in volume `= (V_2 - V_1)=- (V_1)/(2)`
Percentage change `= ((V_1)/(2))/(V_1)xx100=-50%`
