Given wt. of sphere in air = 35 g
Now, wt. of water of volume equal to that of sphere = apparent loss in.wt. of sphere in water i.e. wt. of water of volume equal to that of sphere = 35 - 28.5 = 6.5 g
`:.` Re,ative density `= ("wt. of body in air")/("loss of wt. in water")= 35/6.5 = 5.4`
Now density of’water is 1g/cc
`:.` Density of solid sphere = `5.4 xx 1` = 5.4 g/cc
`:.` Its volume `35/5.4 =6.5cc`
Now apperent wt. in second liquid`(35-6.5xx0.9)`
29.15g
