How can domestic waste be used as manure?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The biodegradable part of the domestic waste can be used as manure by depositing it in the land fills for a few months. With the passage of time, it gets converted into manure. The non-biodegradable part of the domestic waste (e.g., glass, plastics, metal scrap, etc.) can not be used as manure as it does not get degraded by microorganisms. This part is sent to industry for recycling.
