How much time would it take to distribute one Avogadro number of wheat grains, if `10^10` grains are distributed each second?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given that
` 10^(10)` grains are distributed in each second i.e., one second Avagodro, number means ` 6.023 xx 10^(23)`
` therefore 6.023 xx 10^(23) ` grains distributed in ? X seconds
` x= ( 6.0223 xx 10^(23) )/( 10 ^(10) ) = 6.023 xx 10^(23)xx 10^(13)` seconds
The time taken to distribute the one Avagadro number of grains
` = ( 6.023 xx 10^(13))/( 60 xx 60 xx 24 xx 365 ) `
` = ( 6.023 xx 10^(13))/( 3.153 xx 10 ^7) = 1.909 xx 10^6` years
