What will be the conjugate bases of the ...

What will be the conjugate bases of the following Bronsted acids: `HF, H_(2)SO_(4)` and `HCO_(3)^(-)`?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The conjugate bases should have one proton less in each case and therefore the corresponding conjugate bases are `F^(-), HSO_(3)^(-) and CO_(3)^(2-)` respectively.
