Explanation

Global Warming : The Earth is heated by sunlight and some of the heat that is absorbed by the Earth is radiated back into space . But some gases like `CO_(2) , CFCs, O_(3) , NO` and water vapour present in the lower atmosphere do not allow the Earth to re -radiate the heat inot sapce. A part of the hea so trapped in these atmospheric gases in re- emitted to the earth.s surface . This phenomenon is called the " Green house effect" (or ) Global warming .
The gasses which are reponsible for Green house effect are `CO_(2), CFC.s, O_(3), NO , CH_(4)` water vapour etc, and they are termed as Green house gases. The effect of increase in `CO_(2)` causes global warming.
