Define venation. How do Dicots differ from Monocots with respect to venation.

.The arrangement of veins and the veinlets in the lamina of the leaf.. is called venation. In Dicots, Midrib, lateral veins and veinlets form a network so called Reticulate venation. In Monocots, the veins run parallel to each other within a lamina so called parallel venation.
