The essential floral part of Lilliaceae are Androecium and Gynoecium.
Androecium : Six stamens in two whorls, free or Epipyllous, anthers are Dithecus Basifixed, Introrse and dehisce longitudinally.
Gynoecium : Tricarpellary, Syncarpous, trilocular superior ovary with many ovules on axile placentation. Style is terminal and stigma is trified and capitate.
