What is stomatal apparatus? Explain the structure of stomata with a labelled diagram.

The stomatal aparture , Guard cells and the subsidiary cells together called "Stomatal appartus."
Structure of Stomata : Stomata are the structures present in the epidermis of leaves . Stomata regulata the process of transpiration and gaseous exchange . Each stoma is composed of two bean shaped Guard cells . in grasses , the guard cells are dumb -bell shaped . The outer walls of guard cells are thin and inner walls are highly thickeried . The guard cells possess chloroplasts and regulate the opening and are known as subsidiary cells . The stomatal aperture , guard cells and the subsidiary cells are together called stomatal appartus.
