What is the role of sulphur in plant life ?

Sulphur is present in two amino acids, cysteine and methionine. It is the main constituent of several coenzymes, vitamins (Thiamine, bibtin, coenzyme A) and ferredoxin. It forms disulphide bridges which help in stabilizing protein structure.
