The testes or testicles area pair of oval pinkish male primary sex organs suspended outside the abdominal cavity within a pouch called .scrotum.. The low temperature (2-2.5°C) is maintained in the scrotum to promote spermatogenesis.
Each testis is enclosed in a fibrous envelope, .tunica albuginea.. The envelope extends inward to form septa that partition the testis into lobules. There are nearly 250 testicular lobules in each testis. Each lobule contains 1 to 3 highly coiled .seminiferous tubules.. A pouch of serous membrane, called .tunica vaginalis. covers the test.
Each seminiferous tubule is lined by .germinal epithelium. which consists of undifferentiated male germ cells called .spermatogonial mother cells. and nourishing.cells called .Sertolt cells! These cells provide nutrition to spermatozoa and also produce inhibin, that inhibits the secretion of FSH. The region outside the seminiferous tubules contain Leydig cells. These cells produce androgens, the most important is Testosterone.. It controls the development of secondary sexual characters and spermatogenesis. The seminiferous tubules open into .vasa efferential through .rete testis.. Rete testis is a network of tubules in the testis carrying spermatozoa from seminiferous tubules to vasa efferentia.

Nitrogen, sulphur and halogens are tested from the sodium fusion extract of the organic compound which is commonly known as Lassaigne's extract. For preparing Lassaigen's extract, a small quanty of the organic compound is fused with sodium metal in a fusion tube. The red tube is broken in distilled water, boiled and filtered. This filtrate is known as Lassaigne's extract or sdodium fusion extract. In the process of testing elements in Lassaigne's a test, which of the following reactions do not occur.
