Draw diagram to connect two appliances A and B rated as '2.2 kW, 220 V' and '110 W, 220 V' respectively with the mains of 220 V. Show in the diagram the switch and fuse with each appliances. State the fuse of which appliance is thicker and why?

The labelled diagram is shown alongside. The fuse with appliance À will be thicker because its current rating is more `(=(2.2xx10^3W)/(220V)=10A)` while the current rating of fuse with appliance B will be less `"(=(110W)/(220V)=0.5A)`
