Differentiate between nuclear fusion and nuclear fission.

1. In nuclear fission, a heavy nucleus splits into two nearly equal light nucleus on bombardment by the slow neutrons, while in nuclear fusion, two light nucleus combine at a very high temperature and high pressure to form a heavy nucleus.
2. The nuclear fission process can be controlled, but the nuclear fusion process can not be controlled.
