(i) Calorie : One calorie is the quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of 1 g of water from `14.5^@C" to "15.5^@C`.
(ii) Heat capacity : Heat capacity of a body is the quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of that body by `1^@C`
(iii) Specific heat capacity : Specific heat capacity of a substance is the quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of unit mass of that substance by `1^@C`.
(iv) Specific latent heat of lee : Specific latent heat of ice is the quantity of heat required to melt it in water without change in its temperature at `0^@C`
