a) Carbon monoxide is formed by the incomplete combustion of carbon in a limited supply of oxygen.
b) When carbon monoxide is inhaled, it reacts with the haemoglobin in the blood and frms carboxy-haemoglobin. As a result, ocygen carrrying capacity of blood decreases. Leading even to death.
c) It is used for the production of industrial gases like water gas and producer gas.
