When does the measurement of colligative properties of a solution leads to abnormal molecular masses?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Colligative properties measurement leads to- abnormal molar masses in the case of electrolytic SOLUTIONS where association or dissociation of solutes is possible. In that case the actual number of particles obsérved will be different from that ex"pected theoretically.
