Why artificial rain can be caused by throwing 'common salt on the clouds?

Ans: Clouds are.colloidal dispersion of water particles in.air, Colloidal water partioles carry charge. On throwing salt in the clouds, coagulation of water particles takes place, -which:falls as rain.
