Can you purity a sol by filtering it through an ordinary fiter paper?

Ans: No. Ordinary tilter papet are farge enough to allow the passage of both impurity particles as well as colloidal partides, Therefore an ordinary fiter paper cannot be used for removing the impurities of electrolytes from an impure sol.
