Name the catalysts used in contact process. Write the optimum temperature for their efficient working

The commonly used catalysts in contact process are Pt. .Fe_2 O_3. or .V_2 O_5^*.. The best yield is obtained by the use of .P t.. But it is very expensive and is easily.poisoned by.impurities.Hence .V_2 O_5. is preferred as it is cheaper and is not póisoned by impurities. The optimum teimperature is .450^circ C..
