.(KM) (mO)_(4).,reacts with conc. .(H)_(2) (SO)_(3). to form .(Mn)_(2) (O)_(7).. which on warming decomposes to .(MnO)_(2). .2 (KMnO)_(4)+2 (H)_(2) (SO)_(4) rarr (Mn)_(2) (O)_(7)+2 (KHSO)_(4)+(H)_(2) (O). .2 (Mn)_(2) (O)_(3) rarr 4 (MnO)_(2)+3 (O).
