Though butanol and butanal have the same solubility in water, there is large difference in thelr boiling points. Why?

Butanol has strong intermotecular `H` bonding while, butanal has week dipole - dipole attraction. Hence, boiling pooint of butanol is higher. But both form `H` bonds with water and hence are șoluble.
