Yes. Starch is a polymer of 'alpha-D' glucose. Starch is, a mixture of two polysạacharides amylose and amylopectin. Amylose is water soluble and consists of linear polymer of 'alpha-D^prime(t)' glụcose 'units arid amylopectin is"water insoluble and contain branched polymer of 'alpha harpoons D(+)' glucose, Cellulose is a_straight chain polysaacharide composed of anly D- glycoside linkages between 'C-I' of the glucose unit and 'C-4' of the next glucose unit.
