Group B vitamins except vitamin `B_12` should be supplied regularly in diet. Why?

Vitamin 'B_12^prime', though not present in plants, is exclusively synthesised by the microorganisms present in the body. Hence 'B_12' may not be supplied in diet. while all other vitamins of group 'B' must be supplied reguIarly in diet.
