Why cannot two field lines interest each other?

Why two children sitting close to each other do not come closer due to mutual force of attraction?

Magnetic lines of force never Intersect each other. What Is the reason ?

Two lines passing through the point(2,3) intersect each other at an angle of 60^@ . If slope of one line is 2, find equation of the other line.
