Viruses are non-cellular organisms. They remain inert outside living cell. They have genetic material DNA or RNA. No virus has both RNA and DNA. Plant in-fecting viruses have ssRNA but animal in-fecting viruses posiess dsRNA. Viruses carries diseases like mumps, small pox, herpes and influenza.
