The length of one string is 4 metres and the length of another string is 14 metres, i) How much times of the longer string is the shorter string? ii) What portion of the shorter string is the longer string?

i) Length of the longer string is `(14)/(4)=(7)/(2)` xx of the shorter string.
ii) Length of the shorter string, is `(4)/(14)=(2)/(7)` of the longer string.
