Describe each of these problems using division or reciprocals. and find the answer. 1) A 16 metre rod is cut into `(2)/(3)` metre pieces. How many pieces do we get?

Length of one plece `=(2)/(3) m` So 16 metres is `(2)/(3)` of the number of pieces Nụmber of pieces
`=16+(2)/(3)=16 xx (3)/(2)=24`
That is, we get 24 pieces.
