A tank having `2 (1)/(2) m` length `1m` breadth and `(3)/(4)` metre height has full of water. From this 225 litres of water was transferred to another tank. How much water remains in the tank?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Capacity of water in the tank `=2 (1)/(2) xx 1 xx (3)/(4)=(5)/(2) xx 1, xx (3)/(4) `
`=(15)/(8) ( cubic meter )=(15)/(8) xx 1000 =1875 ( liter )`
If 225 litres of water was transferred to. another tank, the water remains in the tank
=1875-225=1650 ( litre )
