Measure of oil each bottle contains = `0.475` litre Measure of oil was in thẻ can `=6` xx `0.475`
`0.475` litre `=475` millilitres 6 xx 475=475 xx 6=2850`
2850 milliitres `=(2850)/(1000)` litre `=2.85` litres
That is, `2.85` litres of oil was in the can. Another method
`0.475 xx 6=(475)/(1000) xx 6=(28500)/(1000)`
`(28500)/(1000)=28.5`
` 0.475 xx 6=28.5`
