If the difference between `40 %` and `65 %` of a number is 2000 , what is the number?

Difference `=65-40=25 %`
`25 %` of number `=2000`
`(1)/(4)` of number `=2000`
Number `times (1)/(4)=2000`
Number `=2000 div (1)/(4)=(2000 xx 4)/(1)=8000`
