Write the relation connecting the amount to be deposited in the hospital, amount paid and balance amount using letters. If the amount paid is Rs. 400 and the balance amount is Rs. 1000 then find the amount to be deposited in the hospital?

If we denote `T` fo the amount to be .deposited, A for the amount paid and `(B)` for the balance amount. So the relation connecting `(T), (A)` and `(B)` is `(T)=(A)+(B)`. The amount to be.deposited in the hospital `=400+1000=` Rs, 1400
