In given arrangement, 10 kg and 20 kg blocks are kept at rest on two fixed inclined planes. All strings and pulleys are ideal. Value (s) of m for which system remain in equilibrium are `(g=10m//s^(2))`

A

m=6 kg

B

m=13 kg

C

m=9 kg

D

m=12 kg

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
`B, C, D`

`T=(mg)/(2)`

For the equilibrium of `10kg` block tension in string should be between `20N` to `100N`, while for the equilibrium of `20kg `range of tension is `40N` to `200N`. So for the equilibrium of system, tension in the string must be between `40N` to `100N` and mass of block must be between `8kg` to `20kg`
