Two blocks of mass `10 kg` and `20 kg` are placed on a fixed inclined plane and they connected by a light string. The inclined plane makes an angle `37^(@)` with the horizontal. Bioth the block released from rest simutaneously and strin is just straight without any tension : (Take `g = 10 m//s^(2)`)

Choose the correct options :

A

Tension in the roper if `mu_(1) = mu_(2) = 0.5` is `0 N`

B

Tension in the roper if `mu_(1) = mu_(2) = 0.5` is `20 N`

C

Tension in the roper if `mu_(1) = mu_(2) = 0.8` is `0 N`

D

Tension in the roper if `mu_(1) = 0.2` and `mu_(2) = 0.5` is `16 N`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
A, C, D

If `mu gt 0.75`
both the blocks will not slide, `T = 0`
and when `mu_(1) = mu_(2) = 0.5`
acceleration of block without tension will be same hence tension will again is zero.
