Write the functions of the following in communication systems :
(i) Receiver
Demodulator

Explanation

(i). Receiver: A receiver extracts the desired message signals from the received signals signals from the received signals at the channel output
(ii). Demodulator: it retrieves the information from the carrier wave at the receiver. It does the reverse process of modulator i.e., it does demodulation.
