Explain the following facts giving appropriate reason in each case :
(i) `NF_(3)` is an exothermic compound whereas `NCl_(3)` is not .
(ii) All the bonds in `SF_(4)` are not equivalent

(i)It is because `F_(2)` is stronger oxidising agent than `Cl_(2)`, therefore `NF_(3)` is exothermic compound whereas `NCl_(3)` is endothermic.
(ii) In `SF_(4)` bonds are in different planes, therefore,they are not equivalent.
