Find the position of the final image aft...

Find the position of the final image after three successive reflections taking the first reflection on `m_(1)` .

Text Solution

`I` reflection:
Forcus of mirror `= -10cm rArr u = -15 cm` Applying mirror formula:
`(1)/(v) + (1)/(u) = (1)/(f) rArr v = -30cm`
For `II` reflection on plane mirror:
`u = -10 cm`
`:. V = 10cm`
For `III` reflection on curved mirror again:
`u = -50cm`
`f = -10cm`
Applying mirror formula:
`(1)/(v) + (1)/(u) = (1)/(f)`
`v = -12.5cm`
