The quantum number `+ 1//2` and `-1//2` for the electron spin represent

A

Rotation of the electron in clockwise and anticlockwise direction respectively.

B

Rotation of the electron in anticlockwise and clockwise direction respectively.

C

Magnetic moment of the electron pointing up down respectively

D

Two quantum mechanical spin states ehich have no classical analogue.

The correct Answer is:
D

Change in mass number `=32`
Change in proton `=10`
`8alpha` means `8_(2)He^(4)` i.e., `32` mass number, `16` protons.
Now `6beta=6` neutrons changed to `6` proton.
So, net change in proton `=10`
Answer is `8 alpha, 6beta`
