A battery of emf `2.0 V` and internal resistance `0.10 Omega` is being charged with a current of `5.0 A`. Find the potential difference between the terminals of the battery?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

A battery is being charged so the current will flow from positive terminal
`V_A-2-0.(5)=V_B`
`V_A-V_B=2.5` volt
So the potential difference between the terminals of the battery is 2.5 Volt.
