Number of electrons in
`NO^(+)=7 + 8-1=14`
`O _(2 ) ^(-) = 2xx 8 + 1= 17`
`CN^(-) = 6+7 + 1=14`
`CO= 6+ 8 = 14`
Only `O _(2) ^(-)` has add electrons and hence is paramagnetic.
