`CuCl_2` is an electrolyte which ionise in solution as follows:

Thus, number of particles after ionization `=1-alpha +alpha+2alpha=1+alpha`
`therefore " Van't Hoff factor " (i) = ("number of praticles after ionisation")/("number of particles before ionisation") or (i) =(1+2alpha)/1 ("on" 100% "ionisation" alpha=1)`
`=(1+2xx1)/1=3`

m is the Molality of solution
