Parturition is induced by a complex Neuro end ocrine mechanism'. Justify.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Parturition is both under neural control and endocrine control. The signals for parturition originate from developed foetus and placenta which secrete C-RH (corticotropin-releasing hormone), this induces mild uterine contractions called as fortal ejection reflex. This triggers the release of oxytocin from maternal pituitary. Oxytocin acts on uterine muscles (myometrium) and causes stronger uterine contractions. This leads to the expulsion of baby out of uterus through birth canal called parturition

Paturition is induced by a complex

Parturition is induced by a complex neuroendocrine mechanism. Explain.

Assertion: Parturition is induced by neural signal in maternal pituitary. Reason: At the end of gestation period, the maternal pituitary releases prolactin which causes uterine contractions.

A magnetis quickly moved in the direction indicated by an arrow between two coils C_1 and C_2 as shown in the figure. What will be the direction of induced cu. Rent in each coil as seen frim the magnet? Justify your answer.

Classical ligands form classical complexes while non-classical ligands form non-classical complex. Bonding mechanism in non-classical is called synergic bonding. Q. Synergic bonding is absent in:
