The correct Answer is:
B

Let `(x^(2))/(a^(2))-(y^(2))/(b^(2))=1` be a hyperbola and let `(x^(2))/(a^(2))-(y^(2))/(b^(2))=-1` be its conjugate. Then, their eccentricites are given by `e^(2)=(a^(2)+b^(2))/(a^(2))` and `e'^(2)=(a^(2)+b^(2))/(b^(2))` respectively.
`:. (1)/(e^(2))+(1)/(e'^(2))=(a^(2))/(a^(2)+b^(2))+(b^(2))/(a^(2)+b^(2))=1`
