The correct Answer is:

Arranging the wages in ascending order of margnitude, we have
`8,9,11,14,15,17,18,20,22,25`
Since there are 10 observations. Therefore, median is the arithmetic mean of `((10)/(2))^(th) and ((10)/(2)+1)^(th)` observations.
So, median `=(15+17)/(2) =16`
