Find the equation of a straight line: with slope -2 and intersecting the x-axis at a distance of 3 units to the left of origin.

Line intersects on left side of `x`-axis at a distance of `3` units from origin.
`:.` Point of intersection `=(-3,0)`
Equation of a line passing through the point `(-3,0)` and of slope `-2` is
`y-0=-(x+3)`
`implies y=-2x-6`
`implies 2x+y+6=0`
