A mail starts repaying a loan as first instalment of Rs. 100. If he increases the instalment by Rs 5 every month, what amount he will pay in the `30^(t h)`instalment?

The correct Answer is:
N/a

First instalment of loan a= Rs 100
Difference of amount of each instalment d= Rs 5
Then amount of 30th instalment
`=a+(n-1)d=100+(30-1)5=100+150-5=245`
Therefore, amount of 30th instalment = Rs 245.
