Given, length of the minute hand of clock = 14 cm
`:.` radius of circle `r = 14 cm`
`:'` The angle moves by the minute hand in 60 min `= 360^(@)`
`:.` The angle moves by the minute hand in 1 min `= (360^(@))/(60^(@)) = 6^(@)`
`:.` The anlge moves by the minute hand in 5 min `= 30^(@)`
`:.` Using the formula,
Area of sector of circle `= (theta pi r^(2))/(360^(@)) = 30^(@) xx (22 xx (14)^(2))/(7 xx 360^(@))`
`= (22 xx 14 xx 2)/(12) = (616)/(12) = (154)/(3) cm^(2)`
