In fig (a) we observe that the points (-1,1) satisfy the equation x+y =0
At (-1,1), x+y=-1+1=0
and at (1,-1) , x+y=1-1=0
In fig (b) we observe that the points (-1,3),(0,2) and (2,0) and (2,0) satisfy the equation uy =-x+2 ,
x+y =2.
(At (-1,3), x+y =-1 +(+3)=2
At (0,2), x+y=0+2=2
and at (2,0) , x+y = 2+0=2
