When a right triangle is revolved about one of its sides (containing the right angle), a cone is formed.
Now, we have
Radius (r ) of the base of the cone= 6 cm
Height (h) of the cone = 8 cm
and the slant height (l) = 10 cm

Now, volume of the cone `=(1)/(3)pi r^(2)h=(1)/(3)xx(22)/(7)xx(6)^(2)xx8cm^(3)`
`=(22xx12xx8)/(7)cm^(3)=301.71 cm^(3)`
Curved surface area of cone ` = pi rl=(22)/(7)xx6xx10cm^(2)=(1320)/(7)cm^(2)`
`= 188.57 cm^(2)`
