Find the position of the point `(-2,3)` with respect to the circle `x^(2) +y^(2)=25`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Th centre of the circle is `C(0,0)` and radius is 5 units
Let (-2,3) be the point A
`:. AC=sqrt((0+2)^(2)+(0-3)^(2))=sqrt(13)lt5`
Therefore point `(-2,3)` lies inside the circle.
