Let h m be th eheight of rainfall on the roof

Volume of water on the roof `=22xx20xxh m^(3)`
Now this water drains into a cylindriacl tank and tank is full
So , volume of water in the tank = volume of water on the roof
`pi(1)^(2)xx3.5=22xx20xxh`
`h=(pixx3.5)/(22xx20)=(22)/(7)xx(3.5)/(22xx20)m=(0.5)/(20)xx100cm=2.5 cm `
Hence the height of rainfall on the roof =2.5 cm
Views : Rains water harvesting is a technique used for collecting and stroing rain water by using varius menas in different resources for the future use purpose like cultivaliton tec It helps in reducing the bills especially to the institutions .It also recharge to the ground positively affects ground water quality by dilutiong fluorides nitrated and its slainity.
